Webster County Is a small rural county in Southwest Georgia (see map)  and was formed on Dec. 16, 1853 from a portion of adjoining, Stewart County Georgia. Here you’ll find a green country setting with a country lifestyle. The census of 2010 shows our county as having a total area of 210.3 square miles with a population of 2,390 with 453 of those citizens living inside the city limits of Preston.
